Do something which represents your business, this is your time to show the judges who you are and what your business is about. it is NOT essential for you to submit this but doing so gives our judges better understanding of your business alongside your application forms.
What are the judges looking for?
The judges score each finalist based on the following criteria, this gives you a guide as to what they will be looking for in your video and a a chance for you to cover what you do in these areas.
Leadership and Strategy
Consider the vision for the business, and solutions to challenges it has or may face. Assess the business’s strategic planning. Look at its short and long-term goals, plans to get there and how well it adapts to changes in the business environment.
Innovation and Creativity
Evaluate the business’s capacity to introduce new, creative and inventive ideas, products, or processes. Look for a culture that encourages and supports innovation, originality and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
Passion and Drive
Assess the level of enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment demonstrated by the business owner and the team. Look for evidence of genuine passion for the products, services, or mission of the business as well as core values and purpose.
Community Impact and Social Responsibility
Evaluate how the business positively influences and contributes to the local community. Considering factors such as support for local initiatives and engagement with community members. As well as commitment to ethical and socially responsible practices. This may include disability friendly policies and support for charitable causes.
Marketing and Branding
Evaluate the efforts of the business’s marketing strategies in reaching and resonating with its customer base as well as USP and originality. Consider the use of various marketing channels such as social media, messaging, and the overall impact on brand visibility. Assess the strength and consistency of the business’s brand such as its logo.
Customer Satisfaction and Engagement
Evaluate the level of satisfaction among the business’s customers. Consider customer processes, reviews, and satisfaction scores related to the quality of products or services and the overall customer experience.
Judges marks account for a total of 75% of the total scores.
